Illegal is not a race.   . . . .   It’s a crime.

Middle Eastern illegals find easy entrance into U.S. from Mexico
By J. Zane Walley      October 19, 2001

The numbers of unauthorized immigrants smuggled across this porous border dumbfound the imagination. To date, the U.S. Border Patrol has apprehended 158,782 illegals in 2001. By the Border Patrol’s own admission, it catches one alien in five, and admits that around 800,000 have slipped across the U.S. line this year. The local ranchers, who have been watching the border for several generations, strongly disagree. They contend the agency only nets one in 10, and estimate that in 2001 over 1.5 million unlawful immigrants have crossed into America in what the Border Patrol calls the Tucson Sector.

16 illegals sue Arizona rancher
By Jerry Seper      Feb 9, 2009
…An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Roger Barnett, 64, began rounding up illegal immigrants in 1998 and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol, he said, after they destroyed his property, killed his calves and broke into his home.
His Cross Rail Ranch near Douglas, Ariz., is known by federal and county law enforcement authorities as “the avenue of choice” for immigrants seeking to enter the United States illegally.

A (partial) victory for common sense
February 20, 2009
A federal jury in Tucson, Ariz., ruled Tuesday that Arizona rancherRoger Barnett did not violate the civil rights of 16 illegal aliens from Mexico he stopped while they were trespassing on his property in March 2004. The bad news: That federal jury inexplicably awarded them $78,000 in actual and punitive damages on claims of assault and the infliction of “emotional distress.” Although the award is a tiny fraction (less than one-quarter of one percent) of the $32 million sought by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), it is disgraceful that the jury awarded anything to the plaintiffs. Barnett’s only “offense” was holding the 16 intruders at gunpoint when he encountered them on his land in a location that has become a major corridor for armed drug and immigrant smugglers. He telephoned the Border Patrol and held the trespassers at gunpoint while waiting for law enforcement to arrive. Barnett does not speak Spanish, and the illegals were upset by the fact that he yelled at them and his dog barked at them. Really.

Mexican Illegal Alien Child Rape Ring in San Diego – video

“Rape Trees” Found Along Southern US Border
by Mariela Rosario     March 11, 2009
The violence in Mexico is out of control and undeniably headed north. From beheadings to kidnappings, there seems to be no limit to what the cartels are willing to do to assert their dominance. They deal not only in drugs, but also in humans. The majority of the coyotes who help illegal immigrants cross the border are affiliated with these Mexican cartels.
Although many politicians would like to believe that the violence will stay to the south of the border, the reality is that it has already begun to affect South Western states. The revelation that Phoenix is now the “kidnapping capital” of the United States only affirms what many residents already knew.

The Arizona Immigration Law, the Oil Spill and Government Failure
Newt Gingrich       May 5, 2010
The controversies over the Arizona immigration plan and the Obama Administration’s response to the oil spill in the Gulf may not seem related, but they have a key common characteristic: both originate in the failure of Washington.
In both cases, President Obama faces a real danger of a political backlash from which he will be unable to recover.

These two bills HB 4355 and HB 4969 have passed committee with overwhelming support but Dillon has not allowed a vote yet. Do you want illegal aliens getting your jobs?”

Up to 15 other states are doing this or anticipating doing this. It saves money, jobs and is a security issue. We can’t be giving jobs to illegals when we have a 15% unemployment rate. This could have been done long ago and Oakland county and Macomb county already do this for employees.

Fighting Arizona’s drug trafficking and border violence problem

By Online              April 30, 2010
Just a few days ago, a major drug ring was broken up and 39 Mexican cartel operatives suspected of running 40,000 pounds of marijuana through southern Arizona were indicted. This is merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Arizona’s drug trafficking and border violence problem.

Immigration and REAL ID
by James Leroy Wilson         May 6, 2010
Americans will have to carry internal passports, and show them to State officials constantly, and have every aspect of their lives controlled by far off know-it-alls in the federal bureaucracy. Your federal overlords will gain increased control over  . . .
* Where, how, and even if you can earn a living
* Whether or not you can board a train, or enter a federal building
* Whether or not you can cash a check, or buy guns or alcohol
* What kind of healthcare you receive
* How long you’ll stand in line at the DMV, and whether you can have a license
* Whether or not you can be stopped on our streets, and even detained, for failure to display your card
* And many other aspects of your life
This total control will be made possible by a national identification system that was put in place in order to control immigration. But it will really control YOU!
In this way, immigration control and registration is just like gun control and registration — it most deeply affects law-abiding citizens.

Illegal Immigration: Is it Kind to be Cruel?
By Paul Ibbetson
What the media coins the “tough” new Arizona immigration law, SB1070, forwarded by Governor Jan Brewer, has once again pushed to the forefront the argument of, “just what is the proper course of action when dealing with illegal immigration?” The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) says the new law is unconstitutional. Ultra-liberal Mayor Gavin Newsom of the sanctuary city San Francisco is working to boycott Arizona in an effort to force the state to scrap the new law. In what has to be seen as a bizarre political move, Arizona Democrat Congressman Raul Grijalva has decided to boycott his own state.

Arizona, May Day and the Failure of the Feds

by Allan Wall
The Obama administration and the Leftist Media (do I repeat myself?), the Hispanic Lobby and the Mexican Government are attacking a law recently passed by the great state of Arizona. The law is SB 1070, passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Jan Brewer. This law is being condemned in a most hysterical manner, and its opponents are doing what they can to delegitimize and undermine it. It may yet be stricken down by our court system……
